I little nervous now about installing new TDA7293's because I don't want to blow them up again if something else is causing them to blow (12 bucks a pop!.and I mean "POP"!). Powering the purpose-built AVT412A (angled) and/or AVT412B. The cap is designated C123 but I can't find it in the schematic. The AVT50H is the head version of the AVT50 combo and is armed with the exact same features. measured across the 22uf Cap right next to it and read 80 ohms again (in both +/- directions). I measure +48V -48V and 0 V across pins 1,2 and 3 respectively.is this correct? I also poked around the "mother" board and found an unusual reading from the 7915 (- 15v reg chip).it measured 80 ohms across the pins 2 and 3 (in both +/- directions). I replaced the fuse, unplugged the first Power amp board, plugged in the second power amp board.and it blew a fuse again. Everything was fine until I plugged in the CN1 connector that goes to one of the power amp boards (the board mounted to the heat sink, cooled by fans).then the fuse blew. If anyone else remembers using the Marshall AVT's, I'd still like to hear about your experiences or memories from them.I have an AVT50 tValvestate 2000 that blows the main 4 amp fuse only when either of the power amp CB (CN1) is plugged into it.I started off by marking all the connections carefully, uplugging everything from the power amp boards and the "mother" board, then began from the Xfmr, and began plugging connections in one at a time then turning the power switch on. Thats some good stuff you were saying about that 150, being able to run that into a computer for some recording purposes. So just in case I want to jam on something with some buddies I have that option if I want it. I was reading also somewhere that even this AVT50 can be plugged into cabs. Since the last thing that we want is disturbing your diet with too much fat or too much sugar, youll be glad to learn that we made them ourselves with fresh, organic and fair ingredients, and with a perfect nutritional balance. If I were you I would probably get a 2x12 with celestions for the avt 50.Thank you very much for your feedback about this amp. 86 user reviews on Marshall ValveState 2000 AVT.

After its initial launch, the original Marshall Valvestate technology received worldwide acclaim and set a new standard in affordable quality amplification. It won't get as roaring loud as a tube amplifier though. Summary of Contents for Marshall Amplification Valvestate 2000 AVT From Jim Marshall I would like to thank you personally for selecting one of our Valvestate 2000 AVT amplifiers. It's what they called a hybrid back then. Being a solid state amplifier it had some bite, but like you said tube preamp for the harmonics. Clean channel was chimey and dirty channel had that marshall tone. The speaker emulated out could be ran to your computer audio interface for recording without a traditional miked cabinet with acceptable results. It was pretty cool with 4 channels and built in digital fx. I bought a marshall avt 150 back in 2000. Is there any members here that are familiar with this Marshall AVT line that came out many years ago? Everything I read about this amp has me excited, I hope I can have a good experience of jamming out on this thing.

I understand if I wanted a full on natural sound I would need to look into all the expensive heads and cabs. Therefor I'm using headphones a lot at night time hours. I'm not able to jam out with a full on cabinet at the moment since I live in a tight space with a lot of neighbors around me. I want my pedal board to be able to handle the effects area of my music while the amplifier is there to simply give me a beastly sound. I'm hoping that it will provide me with more of a natural sound verses what a lot of the current solid state amps these days are going for with all the different "sounds" being programmed by the manufactures. I understand this isn't a tube amplifier, but it's tube pre-amp. I'm really excited about this amplifier because it will be my first Marshall. I just won an auction within the past couple days for a Marshall Valvestate 2000 AVT50.
